Recycling Guides PDF Print E-mail

The following links are intended to be a resource for the community on where to recycle and dispose of all your household waste items. We know recycling can be confusing and are happy to answer your specific recycling questions. Either call us at 970.827.9999 or shoot us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

All recycling dropped off at Eagle County's six community drop-off sites goes directly to the Eagle County Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). The Eagle County MRF is a state-of-the-art facility located at the Eagle County landfill in Wolcott. Materials are sorted and processed at the MRF, which opened in January 2010, and is owned and run by Eagle County government. We are very fortunate in Eagle County to have a local MRF and a forward-thinking government that supports recycling and environmental stewardship. For more info on the MRF, visit Eagle County's website.
